One Shop tab, set up for the way you sell.

Christmas pre-orders at a bakery, mixed cases at a wine shop, same-day bouquets at a florist, weekly baskets at a farm: the Shop tab follows the way each trade already sells. Here's how it works for yours, with demo stores you can try like a customer.

By trade

Nine trades, nine ways to use it.

Each use case is set up in one of our demo stores, so you can try it as a customer would. The businesses are fictional; the pickup slots, pre-order dates and delivery options work the way they would in your shop.

Bakery

Christmas pre-orders, collected in a pickup slot

Yule logs and festive breads go on sale weeks ahead, with a cut-off date and limited quantities. Customers pay when they order and choose a time to collect, so the counter stays calm on the morning of the 24th.

Wine shop

Mixed cases and gift boxes, collected or delivered

Sell by the bottle, the case or the gift box, with gift cards for tastings. Customers collect in store, have it delivered in town or shipped, and confirm their age at checkout.

Chocolatier

Easter and Christmas boxes, sold ahead

Easter moulages, ballotins and Advent calendars, each on sale for its season with an end date. Customers collect in town or have them shipped, and you know your quantities before you start tempering.

Weekly baskets and meat boxes, reserved and paid

A basket of the week that follows the season, beef boxes reserved before slaughter day, eggs and honey alongside. Every order is paid online and collected on your farm day, so nothing goes to waste.

Wine estate

Your price list, as a shop

Wines by the bottle or the case, mixed cases and cellar visits to give as gifts. Customers choose collection at the estate or shipping, and pay by card instead of posting a cheque with an order form.

In figures

What a month could look like, with the real maths.

Three illustrative examples, not real customers: the shops and their numbers are made up. The fees are exactly what you would pay: our 2.5%, and the standard card fee, which is separate.

Illustrative example

A bakery taking Saturday pre-orders

Customers reserve sourdough, croissants and tarts during the week, pay online and collect on Saturday morning in a pickup slot. In a typical month: 40 orders averaging €22.

Sales: 40 × €22 = €880.00
Add Your Shop: 2.5% × €880 = €22.00
Card fees: 1.5% × €880 + 40 × €0.25 = €23.20
The bakery keeps €834.80
Illustrative example

A wine shop in December

Regulars order mixed cases and gift boxes online, to collect in store or have delivered by courier. In December: 50 orders averaging €96.

Sales: 50 × €96 = €4,800.00
Add Your Shop: 2.5% × €4,800 = €120.00
Card fees: 1.5% × €4,800 + 50 × €0.25 = €84.50
The wine shop keeps €4,595.50
Illustrative example

A florist delivering locally

Bouquets in three sizes, ordered online with a card message and delivered across town the same day. In a typical month: 40 orders averaging €45, delivery included.

Sales: 40 × €45 = €1,800.00
Add Your Shop: 2.5% × €1,800 = €45.00
Card fees: 1.5% × €1,800 + 40 × €0.25 = €37.00
The florist keeps €1,718.00

Illustrative examples only — these are not Add Your Shop customers. Our commission is 2.5% of sales, excluding VAT; VAT may apply. Card fees assume standard European cards (1.5% + €0.25 per payment); premium, business and non-EEA cards cost more. A month with no online orders costs €0. Try your own numbers.

Questions

About use cases

Visit the help centre
My trade isn't listed. Can I still have a Shop tab?

Very likely. Cider makers, beekeepers, tea rooms, bookshops: if your customers order ahead, collect from you or can receive a parcel, a Shop tab usually fits. Tell us how you sell and we'll give you a straight answer.

Can I combine pickup, delivery and shipping?

Yes. You can offer pickup slots for fresh products, local delivery nearby and shipping for what travels well, all in the same shop. You choose which products go which way: a fresh cake can be collect-only while a jar of honey ships.

Can I sell some products only part of the year?

Yes. Send us each season's range and we put it online, usually within a working day or two, or switch products on and off yourself. Products can also be available to pre-order for a given date, such as yule logs for 24 December.

Are the demo stores and examples real businesses?

No. The demo stores and the examples on this page are illustrations: the businesses, products, prices and figures are invented to show how a Shop tab works for each trade. The fees in the examples are real: 2.5% for us, plus the standard card fee.

Can my shop work like the demo stores?

Yes, set up around your own products, colours and photos, and opened from the menu of the website you already have. We build it for you, you approve it before it goes live, and we keep it up to date. See how it works.

How much does it cost?

No setup fee and no monthly fee. We take 2.5% of each order paid online, on top of the usual card payment fees (1.5% + €0.25 per payment for standard European cards). See pricing.
