What Wix and Squarespace do really well
Both are complete website builders with polished templates and a built-in store. If you're starting from scratch, having your site, shop and sometimes bookings in one place is genuinely convenient.

Questions
My site is on Wix. Do I need a commerce plan?
Not with Add Your Shop: we add a Shop link to your Wix menu without changing your plan. If you'd rather run everything inside Wix, you'll need a plan with e-commerce.
Does Squarespace take a commission?
Yes on the Basic plan (2%), no from the Core plan upwards, according to its pricing page in October 2026. Payment fees come on top.
Can I move from Wix to Add Your Shop?
Yes. You keep your Wix website and we add the shop alongside it. Your products can be carried over from your current store.
